🌟 Access for All: Our Commitment to Financial Aid

We believe every child deserves the chance to participate in enriching programs—regardless of family income. In partnership with our dedicated non-Profit (Baroody Project) and Program Providers, we are proud to offer financial aid to ensure more students can join the fun, learn new skills, and grow through high-quality enrichment experiences.

🤝 Partnering with Baroody Project & Program Providers

Our commitment to equity is made possible through the incredible cooperation of our non-profit Baroody Project and our Program Providers. These community partners share our values and work closely with us to ensure that every child—regardless of background—can participate and thrive.

Together, we strive to remove financial barriers and open doors to new opportunities.

💬 What We Offer

Each eligible student can receive a scholarship for one class per session. Additional requests are subject to removal. These financial aid opportunities are funded through Baroody Camps generous donations and partnerships, and aim to reduce or fully cover the cost of the program.

📅 When & How to Apply - Lottery

For designated higher-need schools, we offer a three (3)-day early registration window specifically for families applying for financial aid—before general registration opens.

During this early access period:

  • Families may register for their first-choice class, and are encouraged to indicate 2nd and 3rd choice classes on the registration form.

  • After the early registration period closes, a lottery will be conducted to allocate the limited number of financial aid spots available in each class.

Families will be notified before general registration opens whether they:

  • Received financial aid for their selected class, OR

  • Have been waitlisted and will be contacted if a spot becomes available

πŸŽ“ Please Note: Because these are high-demand programs at your school, financial aid are limited. Submitting your registration during the early window improves your chances but does not guarantee placement.

πŸ“Œ Financial aid is awarded per session (one class per child), and families must reapply during each session’s designated registration window.

βœ… Who Qualifies?

Financial Aid is available for children enrolled in our network of partner schools who are enrolled in a qualifying public assistance program.

You may apply for a financial if your child receives benefits from any of the following programs:

  • Medicaid

  • Free Lunch through the local County School System

  • SNAP (Food Stamps)

  • TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)

  • WIC (Women, Infants & Children Program)

  • Head Start

  • FAMIS (Family Access to Medical Insurance Security)

📄 Verifying Eligibility (No Documentation Required)

To help us verify financial aid eligibility, families are required to certify that their child receives one of the qualifying forms of public assistance.

You do not need to submit documentation, but if you are able to provide a letter from the agency confirming eligibility, it can help us process your request more efficiently.

If you choose to upload a letter, you can do so HERE and it should include:

  • The name of your child (the financial aid recipient)

  • The eligibility dates for the benefit

  • The name of the public assistance program

πŸ“Œ At the time of registration, you will be asked to complete a brief waiver to certify that your child currently receives qualifying public assistance. Parent/guardian certification is sufficient to be considered for financial aid.

We understand not all families will have access to documentation, and no one will be denied consideration based on a lack of paperwork.

💬 What if I don’t qualify but still need help?

We understand that not all financial challenges are reflected in public assistance programs.

If your family is experiencing a temporary hardship or unique circumstance (such as job loss, medical bills, or housing instability), you are still encouraged to apply for financial aid.

You can complete the financial aid registration and submit a separate request using the form HERE to briefly describe your situation, and we will review each request with care and confidentiality.

🔐 Privacy & Confidentiality

We treat all financial aid information and any submitted documentation with the utmost care, confidentiality, and respect. Any materials you choose to share are:

  • Used only to assess financial aid eligibility

  • Viewed only by a limited team responsible for financial aid review

  • Stored securely, if saved, and never shared outside the organization

No family will be denied consideration for lack of documentation, and all information—whether submitted or self certified—is handled with sensitivity and trust.
